LCKY#SVN; Celebrating The Chronicles' Seventh Year

I chose to leave the Western side of the country in an effort ot pursue my education and, in doing so, I managed to transplant myself into an environment where the car scene goes dormant for about 6 months...mainly because of that "Great" Lake that seems to generate endless amounts of winter weather. Regardless, I am still lucky enough to have friends on the West Coast who, while constantly bragging about it, are able to attend all of the meets, shows, and events that everyone in the Midwest can only dream of doing doing these cold winter months, and continue to bring coverage. With that being said, here are some incredible pictures from The Chronicles' Year 7 Meet, brought to you by the lens of Dominik Jimenez.

One of two special cars unveiled during the meet, and one of my all-time favorite builds, is Yuta Akaishi's The Chronicles X Nemo's Garage backed EK Civic sedan. Fitted with custom massaged S2K fenders, a molded combo C West/OEM front bumper adorned with a Carbon lip and custom splitter, a C West rear wing, and now a K Series motor, this car will be one to watch during Time Attack events in the coming future. Best of luck during Super Lap Battle, Yuta!

Another car that sees track time is Angel's EG Civic hatchback sitting on Volk TE37SL wheels. The J's Racing rear wing has become something that I love to see on these cars, and underneath the hood is a Rotrex supercharged K20. After looking at the Nemo's Garage EG, and their sponsored EK of Yuta's, it's apparent that some builders ask, "who says a track car can't look as good as a show car?"

A tried and true combination for track enthusiasts- Kosei K1 wheels filling out a set of J's Racing front fenders, being spun by a K-swap under the hood of this Integra. There's something about the Ganador mirrors and lines of an ITR that go together so flawlessly.

Mikey of Phaze 2 made an appearance in his 993 Porsche 911. The red and black is such a perfect combo, especially when matching the faces of the HRE wheels. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for bathtub racers..there's so much perfection about the curves of a rear-engined Porsche, they always get to me.

There's not much I can say about this E-AT aside from admiring how well executed it is.

Everything about RyWire's ITR build is perfectly pieced together. From the first picture, the reader catches a glimpse of the OMP Suede wheel, and the custom backing plate that Ryan has made to encompass the paddleshifting mechanism, and other necesarry switches. Though, with all of the attention to the interior, it's tough to argue as to what is the absolute best part of this car; the bay is definitely a shining point in regards to not only Ryan's build, but is a benchmark set for the entire automotive industry when it comes to overall bay cleanliness. I think I could write for hours just on the bay; the eye is grabbed by the custom injector junction box sitting atop the Golden Eagle bottom-feed manifold, while the hardlining for O2 sensors and the one-off HPD valve cover really attests to the overall quality of parts, and attention to detail. Littered with Wiggins clamps all around, and RayChem wrapped harnesses that are barely seen, Ryan and the team at RyWire have achieved something special with the debuting of this masterpiece.
